How to participate in hiking and trekking

How to Book

Reservations are required the day before the excursion. Some excursions are limited in number so reservations will be made subject to availability.

For those already staying at the accommodation facilities in Pescasseroli, booking in person is required, by 6 pm of the day before the excursion, at our office in Via Piave 9 in Pescasseroli.

For those unable to go in person to our office, reservations are required by telephone (0863/912760), WhatsApp (3917668167) or through the website www.ecotur.org within 18 hours of the day before the hike. The request must contain: name of the chosen excursion, the date, the number of participants. The reservation is considered confirmed following a response from Ecotur.

If I want to withdraw?

You can withdraw from an excursion, and have a full refund, with 48 hours notice from the date of the excursion. After this period, the participant will be entitled to a voucher of the same amount to take another excursion. The voucher does not expire, but a reservation must be made for the excursion chosen as an alternative to verify its actual availability.

Cancellation of the excursion

In the event that the excursion is canceled by the organization due to failure to reach the minimum number, for adverse weather conditions or for other reasons. The participant will be entitled to the entire reimbursement fee.

Office hours

Every day:

• in the summer from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00
• in the winter from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:30 to 19:00

We are also open on public holidays.

Duration, appointments, equipment and costs

The times, the meeting places and the equipment are indicated in the file of each single initiative.

Difficulties

Before registering, carefully read our difficulty scale.

Transports

With some exceptions, transport is not included. It may therefore be necessary to travel briefly with your own vehicle from the meeting point to the starting point of the route.

Information

Before registering, request or view the detailed travel form on the website; consult the difficulty scale and, if necessary, request further information in order to make sure that the trip is actually suitable for your needs and expectations.

How to Book

Travel booking: once the package and departure date have been chosen, it is necessary to fill in the registration form published on the website www.ecotur.org and pay the requested fee. Once the application form has been received, the agency will send the applicant a tour booking confirmation. Only the payment is considered as confirmation of the travel reservation.

Payment and confirmation

There are two payment methods:

• By credit card through the website www.ecotur.org
• By bank transfer preceded by an e-mail (informazioni@ecotur.org) or a whatsapp message (3773579475) requesting participation.

In the reason for payment, always specify:

Name of the first participant and total number of participants / Travel title / departure date (e.g. Rossi x 2 / Bear weekend / 10-8-2022)

Additional Services

If you want to stay after the end of your holiday or arrive before the start and you need other accommodations or additional services, we can help you plan your itinerary. On some trips, single rooms are available, subject to a daily supplement and subject to availability; ask for information.

If I want to withdraw?

You can withdraw from a trek or weekend, and therefore get the entire amount paid back, with 14 days notice before the initiative in question is carried out. After this date, you will be entitled to a voucher of the same amount which can be spent on future excursions, trekking or weekends, without expiry.
